No account, no card, no plan. You land on the page, attach the document, and send. For someone who has been told "just fax it over" and has never owned a fax machine, that is the shortest path from problem to solved.
Free faxing to the United States and Canada is confirmed on GotFreeFax's own site. That is the same footprint Me Fax Too covers in beta, so for a one-off send there is nothing you would gain by signing up with us instead.
We will not pretend otherwise to sell you a subscription. Free fax tools have served a real need for twenty years, and if that is all you need, use one.
Choose GotFreeFax if this is a one-off send. A single form to a single office, once. It costs nothing and takes two minutes. Signing up for any fax account — ours included — is more product than the job needs.
Choose GotFreeFax if you never need to be faxed back. If your entire fax need is outbound, a free send tool covers it, and a monthly account will sit unused.
Choose a HIPAA-compliant provider if compliance is involved. Me Fax Too is not HIPAA compliant and does not sign BAAs. Fax.Plus Enterprise, SRFax, and eFax market HIPAA-compliant faxing; we do not.
Choose something else if your file is not a PDF. Me Fax Too sends PDF only.
The moment faxing repeats, three things a free send tool cannot provide start to matter: a number people can reach you on, more than one person able to send, and a record you can search later.
Free send tools do not give you an inbound fax number.
You cannot print a fax number on an invoice, a referral form, or a supplier onboarding packet if you do not have one. With Me Fax Too you activate the free beta and then choose your own number — we do not assign one to you automatically. Incoming faxes land in an online inbox and trigger an email notification.

In a real office the front desk, the bookkeeper, and the owner all end up faxing something. Me Fax Too includes 10 users on one shared company account, with shared company-wide contacts so a recipient is added once and everyone can use it.
No account means no fax history.
When a claim is disputed or a supplier says they never received it, you want to open a list and point at a delivered timestamp. Me Fax Too stores sent and received faxes encrypted, with role-based access, and shows real-time delivery status on every send.
Per-send limits make long documents awkward.
Me Fax Too works from a shared page pool covering both inbound and outbound for the whole company. Unused pages up to 50 carry over at each monthly anniversary, with a 60-page accumulation cap, so a quiet month is not simply lost.
Free tools have no concept of permission.
Per-user roles let you decide who may send from the company number. Sends can be kept private from other staff, though you should know that admins can see all company faxes — we would rather tell you that up front than have you discover it.
Some staff will never open a web app.
Email-to-Fax lets them send from the mail client they already live in, while the fax still lands in the company history where everyone else can see it.

No. It does not provide an inbound fax number. If you need people to fax you, you need a service that assigns a number to your business. Me Fax Too lets you choose your own number after activating your free beta.
Because we could not verify them. Our rule on every comparison page is simple: if a figure is not confirmed at the source, we do not print it. Guessing a competitor's limits would make everything else on this page less trustworthy.

No. Me Fax Too is not HIPAA compliant and we do not sign business associate agreements. If HIPAA applies to your documents, choose a provider that markets HIPAA-compliant fax and will sign a BAA.
PDF only. Most software can print or export to PDF, but if yours cannot, this is a real limitation.
No. We do not offer number porting. Porting is handled through Telnyx directly. You choose a new number from us during signup.
