That is the sharpest difference between the two products, and it is not a criticism of Fax.Plus — it is a different design goal. Fax.Plus is built beautifully for one person who faxes. The moment a second person needs access, you are moving up the tier ladder, and the ladder gets steep before it gets flat.

Me Fax Too started from the opposite end. The unit is a company, not a person. Ten users are included on one shared account, with per-user roles, shared company-wide contacts, and one page pool that everybody draws from. There is no "which of us has the fax login" conversation, because there is no single fax login.

On Fax.Plus, eight people do not fit in Business (5 members), so you land on Enterprise at $79.99/mo — $959.88 a year. On Me Fax Too, eight people fit inside the 10 users included, and during the three-month beta the cost is zero.

Here is the same eight-person office used across all our comparisons: two partners, three account staff, an office manager, and two part-timers who fax twice a month. Everyone needs their own login. Nobody wants to share a password.

The Fax.Plus path

Basic at $6.99/mo includes 1 member. Premium at $13.99/mo also includes 1 member. Business at $27.99/mo includes 5 members — three short. The next tier up is Enterprise at $79.99/mo with unlimited members, which is also where HIPAA and the BAA live. That is $959.88 a year for an eight-person office, or about $120 per person per year. You could instead buy Business at $27.99/mo for five people and have the other three share a login or go without. Plenty of offices do exactly that. It works until someone leaves and you have to change a shared password, or until you need to know which of the three sent the fax that went to the wrong number.

The Me Fax Too path

Eight users sit inside our included 10, so there is no seat arithmetic. Each person gets their own login and their own role. Admins choose who is allowed to send. Pages come from one shared company pool covering both directions, so the two part-timers who fax twice a month do not need their own allowance — they draw from the same pool as everyone else, and unused pages up to 50 per month roll over, to a 60-page cap.

If you hire past 10 people, the planned rate is $2.79 per additional user per month. A 14-person office would be four extra seats, $11.16 a month, $133.92 a year, on top of the base plan. We will publish the base plan figure before your beta ends.

One thing to weigh honestly: the Fax.Plus $959.88 is a real, committed, buy-it-today number. Ours is not, yet. What we can commit to is the structure — 10 included users and a per-user rate you can multiply.

Switching from Fax.Plus to Me Fax Too

There is no migration tool and no number porting. You take a new number with us and run both accounts in parallel while your correspondents update their records.

1. Keep Fax.Plus running. Do not cancel during the transition. Three free months gives you plenty of overlap.
2. Sign up and activate the free beta. No credit card required. You are creating a company account, not a personal one.
3. Choose your fax number. We do not auto-assign numbers — you pick yours from the available list after activation.
4. Add your team, up to 10 users. Set roles and decide who can send.
5. Rebuild your contacts as shared company contacts. Everyone uses the same address book, so a number gets typed once.
6. Update your printed and published fax number. Letterhead, forms, invoices, your website, partners. This is the unavoidable part.
7. Export your Fax.Plus history before closing the account. Old faxes do not transfer.

Is Me Fax Too HIPAA compliant?

No. Me Fax Too is not HIPAA compliant and does not sign business associate agreements. Fax.Plus offers HIPAA and a BAA on its Enterprise tier. If you handle protected health information, choose accordingly.

Can I port my Fax.Plus number to Me Fax Too?

No. We do not offer number porting. Fax.Plus does, and it is free there. You would take a new number from us and update your records.

What files can I send with Me Fax Too?

PDF only. Most software can print to PDF, but if that extra step will not work for your team, this is a real limitation and you should weigh it.

Can my admin see my faxes?

Yes. Company admins can see all company faxes, including ones sent with the private option. We disclose this because a team product where the owner cannot audit usage is not a team product — but you should know before you sign up.

What will Me Fax Too cost after the beta?

Not decided yet. The beta is free for three months with no credit card, and final pricing will be announced before your three months end.
