Is Me Fax Too a replacement for SRFax?

Only if your faxing is not clinical. SRFax leads with Healthcare Solutions as a primary navigation item and claims HIPAA compliance in the United States and PHIPA compliance in Canada. Me Fax Too makes no compliance claims at all. We are not HIPAA compliant, we do not sign business associate agreements, and we are not built for protected health information.

That is the whole comparison, honestly stated, and for a medical clinic it ends here. If you are a clinic, a lab, a pharmacy, a therapist, or anyone else moving patient records over fax, SRFax is aimed at you and we are not. Plenty of SRFax customers are in that second group. Law offices, accountants, insurance brokers, real-estate firms, contractors and freight companies all end up on healthcare-grade fax platforms because that is who markets hardest to them. If you are one of those, the compliance layer you are paying for is doing nothing for you, and the question worth asking is what the plan actually gives your team.

How much does SRFax cost?

Third-party sites do publish numbers for SRFax. We are not going to reprint them, because the two sources we looked at contradict each other — one reports a Canadian-dollar range in the CAD $8.50 to $11.45 area, another reports $12.60 for a 200-page plan. When third-party reports disagree by that much, republishing either one as fact is how misinformation spreads. Go to SRFax's signup flow and get the number from the vendor.

We hold ourselves to the same rule in the other direction. We will not print a Me Fax Too price either, because our final pricing genuinely is not decided. What we will tell you is that the beta costs nothing for three months, requires no credit card, and that the announced price will land before your three months are up.

One more factual observation, offered neutrally: SRFax's WordPress content layer appears dormant. Its sitemap returns a default 2021 "Hello world!" post. Verified July 2026. That says nothing about the fax service itself, which is a separate system — it just means the marketing site is not being actively published to.

For SRFax you cannot work it out in advance, because neither the plan prices nor the per-user terms are on the public site. For Me Fax Too, eight people fit inside the 10 users included, so there is no seat charge — and during the three-month beta the total is zero.

Take the same eight-person office we use across these comparisons: two partners, three account staff, an office manager, and two part-timers who fax twice a month. Say it is an insurance brokerage — regulated, but not handling health records.

You open srfax.com/fax-plans expecting a table and find that the numbers are behind the signup flow. To model eight seats you have to start creating an account. There is no published per-user rate to multiply, and no published page allowance to check your volume against, so an eight-person office cannot budget SRFax without first entering the funnel. The Me Fax Too path

Eight users sit inside the included 10, so the seat arithmetic is zero. Each of the eight gets their own login and role. The office manager can decide that the two part-timers may send but not administer. Pages come out of one shared company pool covering both directions, so occasional users do not need their own allowance, and unused pages up to 50 per month roll over to a 60-page cap.

Past 10 people, the planned rate is $2.79 per additional user per month — $33.48 a year per extra seat. That is a number you can multiply without a sales call. Our base plan price is the piece we cannot give you yet, and we will publish it before your beta ends.

Switching from SRFax to Me Fax Too

Before anything else: if your SRFax account exists because you fax health information, do not switch. For everyone else, switching means a new number with us and a parallel-running period — there is no migration tool and no porting.

1. Confirm you are not doing clinical faxing. If you are, stop here and stay with a compliant vendor.
2. Keep SRFax active during the transition. Three free months is enough overlap to move calmly.
3. Sign up and activate the free beta. No credit card. You create a company account, not a personal one.
4. Choose your fax number. Numbers are not auto-assigned — you pick from the available list after activating.
5. Add your team, up to 10 users, and set who is allowed to send.
6. Set up shared company contacts so a fax number is typed once for the whole office.
7. Update every place your number is printed. Forms, invoices, letterhead, website, partners. This is the slow part.
8. Export your SRFax history before you close the account. Nothing transfers automatically.
